Directions

MAP's gallery space is located in Baltimore's Bromo Tower Arts and Entertainment District. We are located between Park and Howard on Saratoga St. If taking the Light Rail we are located around the corner from the Lexington Market stop. Directions From the North

Via I-95 South:

Follow I-95 South through the Fort McHenry Tunnel (toll) to exit 53 (I-395 North, Downtown) toward downtown Inner Harbor. 
Continue onto South Howard St.
Go about half a mile and turn right onto West Saratoga St.
Maryland Art Place is located half way down the block on your left

Via I-83 South:

Follow I-83 South (Jones Falls Expressway) to the merger of I-83 and I-695 West.
Continue on I-83/I-695 merger for one mile to Exit 23A (I-83 South, Downtown).
Proceed on I-83 just until the expressway ends and take a right onto Fayette St.
Head West on Fayette St. for half a mile and then turn right onto Charles St.  
At the second stoplight take a left onto West Saratoga St. and go two and half blocks.
Maryland Art Place will be on your right, half way down the block.
 

Directions From the South

Via I-95 North:
Follow I-95 North to Exit 53 (I-395 North, Downtown)
Merge onto I-395 toward Downtown/Inner Harbor.
Continue onto Howard St.
Turn right onto West Saratoga St. 
Maryland Art Place should be on your left.

 

Directions From the West

Via I-70 East:
Follow I-70 East to Exit 91 (I-695 South, Glen Burnie).
Travel on I-695 South and take Exit 11A (I-95 North, Baltimore).
Proceed on I-95 North to Exit 53 (I-395 North, Downtown).
Merge onto I-395 toward Downtown/Inner Harbor.
Continue onto Howard St.
Turn right onto West Saratoga St.  
Maryland Art Place should be on your left.

 

Parking

There is metered street parking both in front of the MAP building and accross the street that cost $2 an hour for up to 4 hours during the day. Please be aware that during certain hours you cannot park on some streets in our neighborhood and you may be ticketed and towed. Please read the signs carefully. Street parking is free after 6pm. Diagonally accross from us there is a parking garage that charges $8 a day and closes at 7PM, and a lot around the corner off Howard street that charges around the same.

Maryland Art Place (MAP) inspires, supports, and encourages artistic expression through innovative programming, exhibitions, and educational opportunities while recognizing the powerful impact art can have on our community. MAP creates a dynamic environment for artists of our time to engage the public by nurturing and promoting new ideas. MAP has served as a critical resource for contemporary art in the Mid-Atlantic since 1981.
