The Baltimore Mural Program: invites all artists who can envision the big picture to apply for inclusion in the city's Muralist Registry. Community representatives use the registry when choosing artists to design and paint city-commissioned murals in their neighborhoods. To apply, artists must submit six electronic images of existing work or hypothetical mural designs, a current resume and the completed Baltimore Mural Program Call For Artists application form. Artists selected for mural projects receive an honorarium of $3,000 or more, depending in part on wall size. Artists 18 years of age or older who reside in the Baltimore Metro area are eligible. The Drawing Center Viewing Program: Offers emerging artists the opportunity to include their work in a curated Artist Registry that is consulted by a wide variety of arts professionals from across the globe. Artists accepted are invited to meet one-on-one with the Viewing Program Curator to review and discuss a recent selection of their work. The Drawing Center also presents “Selections,” group exhibitions of artists curated from the Viewing Program. Submit 10–15 digital images of artwork made in the last two years.
