HOT ON THE HEELS OF Jane Fonda’s WORLD FITNESS DAY!

Maryland Art Place and Baltimore Lab School
Present
Suz-ercise! The Ultimate Workout
12:30pm, May 7, 2010
Field of Dreams at Baltimore Lab School | 2220 St. Paul Street

Upstaging Jane Fonda’s first-ever World Fitness Day, Maryland Art Place and the Baltimore Lab School introduce Suz-ercise! The Ultimate Workout at 12:30pm, May 7, in a special performance outside the school’s main entrance.

Seventy students and teachers from the Baltimore Lab School are participating in Suz-ercise!, a new ‘faux-real’ fitness program. Working closely with The Suz (aka Miami-based artist Susan Lee-Chun), Lab School participants perform daily warm-up exercises and are learning a custom workout routine to prepare for this special event. Their May 7 performance will feature specially designed DIY Suz-ercise fitness wear.

Suz-ercise!, a 21st century version of Fonda’s sensational 1980s workout program, is a ‘faux-real’ fitness regimen available free online at www.TheSuzItsFauxReal.com. Following The Ultimate Workout, Lab School Suz-ercisers will continue their quest for full certification and are invited to participate with the high style, high performance team of Baltimorean Suz-ercisers presenting Everybody Suz-ercise! June 23 at 6pm in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor.

Everybody Suz-ercise! is a special public art project designed by artist Susan Lee-Chun in collaboration with Maryland Art Place.
